High School Football: Late field goal upends Patriots

The Pequot Lakes Patriots hoped to get a winning streak going by hosting Thief River Falls.

PEQUOT LAKES — Grant Loge threw for 205 yards and a touchdown for Pequot Lakes, but the Thief River Falls Prowlers kicked a last-second game-winning field goal to knock off the Patriots 10-7 Friday, Oct. 15.

Cullen Kratochvil was the leading receiver for the Patriots as he caught eight passes for 100 yards and Jaiden Biley caught the lone touchdown for the Patriots. Caden Nelson added 64 rushing yards on 17 carries as Pequot dropped to 1-6 on the season.
