LITTLE FALLS-Jake Kapphahn tallied three touchdowns for the Little Falls Flyers who crushed the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders 53-6 in a North Subdistrict game Friday for their first win of the season.
Kapphahn scored on runs of 38 and 44 yards and caught a 19-yard strike from Michael Gross. He finished with a 152 yards rushing on 15 carries. Gross also tossed a 10-yard scoring pass to Zachary Opatz.
The Flyers held a 428-88 advantage in total offense and amassed 344 rushing yards on 40 carries. Sia McQuillan rushed eight times for 109 yards including a 41-yard race to the end zone.
Also running for touchdowns for the Flyers were Grant Litke (8 yards), Austin Erdmann (24 yards) and Dylan Lukasavitz (1 yard).
