THIEF RIVER FALLS — Quarterback Bode Magnuson ran for three touchdowns and passed for two more for the Pequot Lakes Patriots who picked up their fourth straight win 45-7 over the Thief River Falls Prowlers in a Midwest Red Subdistrict and Section 8-3A matchup Thursday, Nov. 5.
The Patriots jumped to a 27-0 first quarter lead on runs of 1 and 8 yards by Magnuson sandwiched around a4-yard run by Carter Sjoblad. A 16-yard strike by Magnuson to Alex Morgan capped off the quarter.
Magnuson hit Ryan Harmala with a 17-yard scoring pass in the second and ran 18 yards for a third quarter TD. Caden Nelson finished the Patriots’ scoring with a 3-yard run in the fourth.
Pequot Lakes racked up a 353 yards to 133 by the Prowlers.
Magnuson rushed 13 times for 140 yards and completed 7-of-13 passes for 61 yards.
