High School Football: Pierz moves to 5-0 with defeat of Eden Valley-Watkins

EDEN VALLEY -- Pierz’s Matthias Algarin recorded two touchdowns and led the rushing with 12 carries for 112 yards as Class 3A’s top-ranked Pioneers defeated Class 2A’s ninth-ranked Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles 27-6 Friday, Sept. 27.

Pioneer Blake Kowalczyk scored on a 64-yard run, while Carter Moulzolf and Adam each grabbed an interception in the Mid-State Subdistrict 1 game.
