PILLAGER-Luke Woidyla caught a 17-yard pass from Erik Peterson and ran 67 yards for another score for the Pillager Huskies who capped off their homecoming with a 28-8 victory over the West Central Knights in a Midwest Blue Subdistrict game Friday, Sept. 28.
The game was a rematch of last year's Section 6-2A final at the Fargodome when West Central defeated Pillager 42-38.
Tucker Peterson opened the scoring for Pillager on a 44-yard run and Erik Peterson plunged in from a yard out for the final Husky TD.
Woidyla finished with 128 yards rushing on 18 carries and Tucker Peterson ran 17 times for 100 yards. Erik Peterson completed eight of 13 passes for 57 yards with two interceptions.
Defensively, the Huskies limited West Central to just 75 total yards while amassing 302 yards themselves.
