ALEXANDRIA — Osakis’ Isaac Hetland rushed for 136 yards on 28 carries and scored three touchdowns as No. 3 Pillager lost 34-12 to the No. 2 Silverstreaks 34-12 in the Section 6-2A semifinals Friday, Nov. 20.
Hunter Gjovik rushed nine times for 28 yards and a touchdown to lead the Huskies rushing attack.
Osakis topped the Huskies 29-6 in last year’s section final. Pillager topped the Silverstreaks 30-16 in the 2018 section final.
Hetland scored the first two touchdowns of the game to give Osakis a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter. A 10-yard rushing touchdown made it 20-0 Silverstreaks, but Pillager got on the board on a one-yard run from Gjovik. Hetland scored his third touchdown and Osakis led 28-6 at the half.
A 37-yard connection to Cole Hiltner from Gjovik made it 28-12 and Duncan Vanderson of Osakis finished off the scoring with a 28-yard fourth quarter touchdown run.

Osakis outgained Pillager by a margin of 379-154 led by Hetland and by Vandergon who rushed 25 times for 132 yards.
Pillager’s Blake Clark completed five passes for 52 yards and Hiltner hauled in three catches for 54 yards.
