PIERZ — Trevor Radunz ran for 119 yards and a touchdown as he was one of three 100-yard rushers for the No. 2 Pierz Pioneers as they defeated the No. 3 Morris Tigers 29-6 in the Section 6-3A Semifinals Saturday, Oct. 30.
Jacob LeBlanc rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown while Reese Young chipped in 114 yards on the ground.
Isaac Walcheski caught a 5-yard touchdown from Andy Winscher to get the scoring started for Pierz in the first quarter.
Linus Heidemann kicked three field goals and two extra points which broke the school record for most points scored (11) in a game by a kicker. The previous record was 10 points back in 2003.
Pierz will play No. 4 New London-Spicer in the Section 6-3A championship game 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 at a site TBD.
