High School Football: Pioneers ran their way to victory

ROCKFORD —Pierz’s Michael Liedenfrost led the Pioneers in rushing with 24 carries for 135 yards and three touchdowns as the No. 4 ranked Pioneers beat the No. 7 ranked Rockford Rockets 32-13 Friday, Nov. 6 in a Mid-State Subdistrict 1 game.

Zach Jones led in receiving with a 53 touchdown pass from Quarterback Noah Cekalla in the first quarter.
