High School Football: PRB pitches shutout over Wolves

Pine River-Backus at Walker-Hackensack-Akeley in Week One

WALKER — The Pine River-Backus Tigers defeated the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves 44-0 with 207 rushing yards and 116 passing yards Thursday, Sept. 2.

The Tigers rushed out to a 28-0 halftime lead and added two more second-half scores for the final score.
