High School Football: Tigers get homecoming win against Ada-Borup

PINE RIVER — A 19-point fourth quarter sparked a homecoming comeback win for the Pine River-Backus in a 35-26 win over Ada-Borup Friday, Oct. 8.

Irvin Tulenchik connected with Carson Travis for a 36-yard touchdown pass for the go-ahead score for the Tigers with 4:19 left.

Owen Carlson put the game out of the reach for Ada-Borup with a pick-six for the Tigers to put them up by 35-26.

Connor Tulenchik led the Tigers in rushing with 109 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. Irvin Tulenchik threw for 118 yards and a touchdown on 9-of-16 passing in the win.

PR-B improves to 5-1 in the win.
