High School Football: Tigers win in shutout

Pine River-Backus hosted Lake Park-Audubon in the Section 6-1A quarterfinals. Connor Tulenchik scores four touchdowns.

PINE RIVER — Connor Tulenchik scored four touchdowns for the No. 2 Pine River-Backus Tigers as they defeated the No. 7 Lake Park-Audubon Raiders 30-0 in the Section 6-1A quarterfinals Tuesday, Oct. 26.

Tulenchik started the scoring in the first quarter by catching a 15-yard touchdown pass from Irvin Tulenchik.

Tulenchik would then go on to score three rushing touchdowns from 11, 40 and 27 yards.

PRB next plays Saturday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. as they will host the winner of New York Mills and Menahga in the Section 6-1A semifinals.
