WHEATON-Jarret Kveton and Tate Bounds both ran for a pair of touchdowns for Class 9-Man's third-ranked Verndale Pirates, which finished the regular season unbeaten with a 42-0 win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in a District 9 west South Subdistrict game Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Kveton finished with 200 yards rushing on 22 carries.

Jake Ismil and Matt Steege added rushing touchdowns for the Pirates who dominated the Warriors with a 358-21 advantage in rushing yards and 421-49 overall yardage.

Verndale hosts Onamia 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 in the first round of the Section 4 9-man playoffs.
