Friday's Section 8-5A championship football game between the Alexandria Cardinals and Brainerd Warriors has been moved up from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Adamson Field.
As of Thursday afternoon, the Weather Channel forecast for Friday night puts the chance of snow at 100 percent with snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches with a low around 30. Winds will be East-Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.
"If we can make it a better-played game by moving the time that's good," Brainerd activities director Charlie Campbell said. "If we can make travel a little safer on both sides, for people in our community and certainly for people from Alexandria, we think that's a good thing too."
