PEQUOT LAKES-Three turnovers hampered any chance the Pequot Lakes Patriots had of defending home field during Saturday's 29-13 homecoming loss to the Perham Yellowjackets.
Calvin Maske ignited things early with a 74-yard kickoff return, but Perham answered with back-to-back rushing touchdowns.
Pequot's Blake Lane hit Zach Sjoblad for a 32-yard touchdown pass to cut into Perham's lead, but the Yellowjackets answered with a Jensen Beachy 5-yard TD pass tom Jack DeConcini.
Perham racked up 350 yards of offense and held Pequot to 179.
