Hockey: Little Wild program offered in Brainerd

Online registration for the Little Wild “Learn to Play” program held in Brainerd will be open until Aug. 1.

The “Learn to Play” program consists of four on-ice sessions for players 4-9 years old who have not registered with a hockey association.

The sessions will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Sundays starting Sept. 8 and running to Sunday, Sept. 29 at Essentia health Sports Center in Brainerd.

As part of the registration, players will receive all the skating equipment and protective gear they need to learn to play the game of hockey. The equipment is theirs to keep. No prior skating skills are needed to participate.

time boys and girls hockey players ages 4-9. Eligible participants must be between the ages of

4-9 as of September 1, 2019. All past Little Wild participants, or children who have previously

participated in organized hockey, are ineligible to participate. Those in violation of this rule will

not be allowed to participate and their registration fee will not be refunded.
