The Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors girls hockey team landed the No. 3 seed for the Class 2A State tournament and will open against White Bear Lake 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
The Bears won the Section 4-2A title by not giving up a goal. They topped North/Tartan 4-0 in the quarterfinals, defeated Stillwater 3-0 in the semifinals and beat Hill Murray 2-0 in the section final.
The Bears are 13-12-3 with a Qualify Results Formula rating of 27.
The Warriors have won five straight and own a 23-4-1 record and a QRF of 5.
Securing the No. 1 seed is Edina and it will open 6 p.m. Thursday against East Ridge.

The bracket's first game features No. 2 Andover vs. Farmington at 11 a.m. The night's final quarterfinal pits No. 4 Maple Grove vs. No. 5 Minnetonka at 8 p.m.
The semifinals are 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 with the third place game at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 and the championship at 7 p.m. Saturday.
