BREEZY POINT - Ryan Mezera scored the only goal for Breezy Point as the North Stars were defeated by the Twin City Steel 5-1 in a North American3 League game Saturday night.
Mezera tallied on a power play, assisted by Seyia Hayata and Joe Costello.
Goalie Dakota McDonald made 28 saves for the Stars. Joe Licata played the last 12:35 for Breezy Point, which fell to 2-4-0 and hosts the North Iowa Bulls at 7 p.m. Friday and the Alexandria Blizzard at 7 p.m. Saturday.
