ST. CLOUD - The Breezy Point North Stars defeated the Granite City Lumberjacks 3-2 in a shootout Friday night in a North American3 Hockey League game.
Yegor Paliy and Ryan Mezera punched in goals during regulation with assists going to Ryan Herbert, Jordan Carey and Jack Anderholm.
After a scoreless overtime, the Star won the shootout 4-1 with Sean Viti, Brooke Evans, Tyler Larwood and Seyia Hayata scoring.
Goalie Jaxson Gosnell collected 35 saves.
