Brian Voigt collected three of Brainerd's 15 hits as the Bees lost to the Cold Spring Springers 11-7 in a Lakewood League game Friday at Adamson Field.
Voigt finished 3-for-5 with a double and RBI, Blake Peterson was 2-5 with a double, Kevin Peterson went 2-5 with a double and two RBIs and Renzen Caughey was 2-4 with three RBIs.
Losing pitcher Hanson Devine went two innings allowing 11 earned runs and 14 hits with one strikeout. Voigt went the final seven innings allowing four hits and striking out four.
Winning pitcher Chris Butala worked five innings for the Springers allowing four earned runs and eight hits with two strikeouts.
The Bees, who finish the regular season 8-5, complete in the Region 7B playoffs Aug. 5-6.
