NISSWA-Hanson Devine pitched a 4-hit complete-game shutout and the Nisswa Legion team blanked the St. Cloud Chutes 10-0 in the first game of a doubleheader Thursday.
Devine struck out five and walked two. Braydon Borg homered, drove in three runs and finished 2-for-3. Jaden Miller was 3-for-3 with a double and RBI and Jake Meyer was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
St. Cloud won Game Two 5-3. Bryce Flanagan and Max Boran each hit doubles and drove in runs. Meyer pitched 6.1 innings, throwing 106 pitches, and took the loss. He struck out six and allowed five runs (3 earned).
