GRAND RAPIDS-Bryce Flanagan went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI in Nisswa's 3-2 loss to Grand Rapids in the championship game of the 42nd annual Grand Rapids Invitational Sunday.
Borg finished 2-2 with an RBI for Nisswa which suffered its first loss of the season after 11 consecutive victories.
Connor Knettel took the loss. In five innings, he allowed four hits and three runs (2 earned) with a walk and one strikeout.
Nisswa 5, Princeton 4
Sam Miller pitched six innings as Nisswa nipped Princeton 5-4 in the semifinals earlier Sunday.
Miller permitted eight hits and four runs (3 earned) with a strikeout and a walk.

Colin Kleffman was 2-3 with a double and Flanagan doubled and drove in two runs.
Nisswa 5, Grand Rapids 0
Bryce McConville pitched a complete-game 3-hitter with two strikeouts and two walks as Nisswa dumped Grand Rapids 5-0 in Game Four of pool play Saturday.
McCale Peterson was 3-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, Flanagan was 3-4 with a double and two RBIs and Alex Haapajoki finished 2-3.
Nisswa 14, Totino 4
Haapajoki went 3-3 with a double and four RBIs as Nisswa thrashed Totino Grace 14-4 in Game Three of pool play Saturday.
Flanagan was 2-2 with a double, triple and three RBIs. Peterson finished 2-4 with a double and three RBIs.
Flanagan pitched five innings to get the win. He allowed 11 hits, walked none, and struck out six.

Nisswa 10, Clearwater 0
Miller tossed a 3-hit shutout as Nisswa drubbed Clearwater 10-0 in five innings in Game Two of pool play Friday.
Miller struck out two and walked one. Flanagan was 2-3 with two RBIs and Knettel went 2-3 and drove in two runs.

Braydon Borg fired a 5-inning shutout as Nisswa opened the tournament with a 13-0 drilling of International Falls Friday. He struck out two and walked three.
Kleffman and Peterson doubled for Nisswa which was the beneficiary of 12 walks.
