DETROIT LAKES-McCale Peterson allowed 11 hits, but he didn't walk anyone and surrendered only three runs as he helped Nisswa sweep the Detroit Lakes Round Robin Tournament with an 8-3 victory over Fargo in the third and final game Saturday.
Colin Kleffman, McCale Peterson and Max Boran all had two hits. Bryce Flanagan hit a three-run homer and walked twice. Braydon Borg was 3-4 with two doubles and three RBIs.
Peterson struck out five helping Nisswa improve to 21-8-1 heading into the Sub-State 10 playoffs.
Tristan Richardt, Sam Miller and Alex Haapajoki all had three hits in Nisswa's 14-2 victory over Detroit Lakes Saturday.
Miller drove in three runs and Haapajoki plated two runs. McCale Peterson smoked a solo homer.

Miller also pitched the victory. In four innings, he allowed five hits, three walks and one earned run. He struck out two.
Flanagan pitched the final inning
Borg scattered three hits over seven innings of work for the 6-2 victory over Minnetonka Friday. He walked none and allowed no earned runs. He struck out four.
Flanagan provided all the offense Borg would need as he finished 2-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Colin Kleffman was 2-2 with two walks and two runs scored.
