SAUK RAPIDS-McCale Peterson had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs and Mac Brink drove in three runs as Nisswa defeated Sauk Rapids 8-6 Thursday.
Bryce Flanagan pitched the final 2 ⅓ innings for the save. He allowed no runs on no hits and no walks and struck out three. He relieved Colin Kleffman, who earned the win. Kleffman allowed two earned runs on six hits and four walks. He struck out six over 4 ⅔ innings.
Conner Knettel also had two hits for Nisswa, which enters this weekend's Detroit Lakes tournament with a 19-8-1 record.
