PIERZ-A nine-run second inning propelled the Pierz Legion to a 19-3 victory over Crosslake-Fifty Lakes-Pequot Lakes Thursday.
Lukas Otte finished 3-3 with a triple, four RBIs and a run. Preston Rocheleau was 2-4 with three RBIs and three runs for Pierz.
Matt Kummet recorded the win. He struck out five and allowed two earned runs on two hits and four walks.
Kody Kettleson, Zach Sjoblad and Ethan Lehman recorded hits for CLFLPL.
