Men's Basketball: Moe's in driver's seat in YMCA playoffs

Top-seeded Moe's Contracting and Landscaping defeated CTC 43-35 in the Brainerd YMCA men's basketball league playoffs Monday as Mark Hoge scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Top-seeded Moe's Contracting and Landscaping defeated CTC 43-35 in the Brainerd YMCA men's basketball league playoffs Monday as Mark Hoge scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Michael Hoge added seven points and four rebounds for Moe's. Top performers for CTC included Luke Schramm with eight points and seven rebounds and Joel Schramm with eight points and six rebounds.

Select Therapy eliminated Total Energy 50-38 with Lew Noska scoring 11 points and pulling down five rebounds and Riley Kline 11 points and five rebounds. Total Energy was led by Jon Hoffmann with 10 points and five rebounds and Jake Huser with nine points and four boards.

S&W Guide Service eliminated The Pines 61-49 as John Sandberg contributed 14 points and eight rebounds and Josh Oehrlein nine points and five rebounds. The Pines' Gunner Johnson had 20 points and eight rebounds and Tim Martin 18 points and three rebounds.
