Radamus Jones scored 20 points on 7 of 10 shooting to lead the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 96-83 win over the Ridgewater Warriors in their season opener on Wednesday night.

N'Gai Dixon and Nic Wiesmann each added 18 points and Darsean Woodson accumulated 14 points as CLC shot 52 percent from the field.

The Raiders led the Warriors by just four points at halftime by a score of 39-35, but they got the offense going in the second half with 57 points on their way to the win.

The two teams combined to score 56 points from the free throw line. The Warriors held a margin of 36-9 in points scored from behind the arc.

"It was the first game and we scored 96 so that was good," said head coach Jim Russell. "Defensively we made some adjustments but give them credit for hitting the three's. We need to learn how to keep our composure and play through every offensive possession, but we know everyone is going to try and give us their best game."
