Men’s College Basketball: Raiders clobber the Spartans

Gavin Smith scored 17 points off the bench to help Central Lakes avenge an earlier defeat to Minnesota State with a 94-53 win Friday, Dec. 13, in Brainerd.

The Spartans beat the Raiders 101-78 Nov. 22.

Smith hit four 3-pointers and the Raiders shot 22% as a team from behind the arc. Their defense held Minnesota State to 31% shooting from the field.

Beau Bailey and Josh Arnold each totaled 17 points and Kameron Givens and Tyler Baribeau added 10 points each in the Raiders win.
