Men's College Basketball: Raiders lose to Rainy River despite Jenkins' 33 points

Keonte' Jenkins led a second-half rally, scoring 33 points for the game, to lead all scorers, but the Central Lakes College Raiders lost to Rainy River 95-89 in a Northern Division contest Friday in Brainerd.

Keonte' Jenkins led a second-half rally, scoring 33 points for the game, to lead all scorers, but the Central Lakes College Raiders lost to Rainy River 95-89 in a Northern Division contest Friday in Brainerd.

Lowell Griggs shot 10-13 from the field and finished with 22 points, and Al-Jureau Ray and Sonam Paichang each tallied 11 points for CLC.

The Voyageurs took a 19-point lead to the locker room at halftime, and CLC cut it to as close as four points late in the second half.

Both teams entered the game at 3-1 in the division and one game behind Vermilion, and both teams shot 50 percent for the game.
