Men's College Basketball: Raiders push past Pioneers

THIEF RIVER FALLS-Tyree'on Johnson's breakout game led the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 72-60 win over Northland Community and Technical College in a Northern Division game Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Johnson led the team in scoring with 23 points, and rebounds with 10. Chris Buckley tallied 19 points, and Al-Jureau Ray finished with 13 as the Raiders shot 44 percent from the field and improved to 2-0 in division play.

CLC opened up an 8-point lead in the first half, but the Pioneers cut it to 4 early in the second, but the Raiders pulled away for a 12-point win.
