INTERNATIONAL FALLS — The Central Lakes College Raiders traveled to International Falls in search of their eighth straight win Sunday, Jan. 19.
The Raiders trailed 43-39 at the half, but scored 68 second-half points in a 107-74 win over Rainy River. The Raiders and Voyageurs entered the contest with 5-0 records in Northern Division play.
Beau Bailey and Kameron Givens led five Raiders who finished in double figures. Bailey led the team with 23 points and Givens added 20. Central Lakes shot 52% from the field.
“It was a big team win with a great second half,” said Raiders head coach Jim Russell. “Rainy River was hot tonight in the first half. Kam and Beau played really well. It was a great win for our guys.”
The Raiders moved to 6-0 atop the Northern Division.
