GRAND RAPIDS-With a first-place showdown on the horizon, the Central Lakes College Raiders kept their focus against an Itasca team with just two wins, and rolled to a 106-56 win in Grand Rapids Friday.
Lamontrell Fuller tallied 23 points, TrayVon Lackey added 18 and Jacob Russell scored a season-high 17 as the Raiders rolled to their third straight win.
CLC beat Itasca 98-55 Jan. 13.
The Raiders shot 58 percent from the field and limited the Vikings to 30-percent shooting.
With a 9-2 record, the Raiders are tied with Northland, who defeated Fond du Lac 74-57 Friday evening, atop the Northern Division standings. Those two teams meet Saturday. With a win, the Raiders would control their own destiny in securing the No. 1 seed in the division.
