MOORHEAD - Senior guard Jordan Riewer of Staples scored 24 points as the Minnesota State University Moorhead the Dragons captured their 10th straight victory to open a season, 81-63 over Mary Saturday night.
The 10-0 start is MSUM's best since 2011-12 when it began 12-0 and advanced to the NCAA regional tournament. With the win, the Dragons improved to 3-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Riewer finished two points off of his career high set Nov. 22 at Alaska Fairbanks. He also added three assists.
On Friday, Riewer contributed 12 points and five assists as the Dragons scored a convincing 99-64 win over Minot State.
MSUM played a non-conference game Monday night against Mayville State.
