Men's College Basketball: Walthall earns win No. 200

MOORHEAD - Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball head coach Chad Walthall earned the 200th win of his career Tuesday night in the Dragons' 111-40 blowout victory over Presentation College.

MOORHEAD - Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball head coach Chad Walthall earned the 200th win of his career Tuesday night in the Dragons' 111-40 blowout victory over Presentation College.

Now in his fifth season at MSUM, Walthall has compiled 84 wins for the Dragons and has the second highest winning percentage (66.9 percent) of any MSUM coach.

Walthall, a Staples High School graduate, also coached at Loras College in Iowa from 2000-2007 where he earned 116 wins. With Tuesday's win, MSUM improves to 8-0 on the season.

The Dragons will resume Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play at 8 p.m. Friday when Minot State visits Nemzek Fieldhouse.
