BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Falcons are ranked No. 14 in this week's USCHO NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll.
Bowling Green, which was ranked 15th in last week's poll, earned a No. 19 ranking in the Nov. 10 poll, which marked the first time the program had been ranked since the 2007-08 season.
The Falcons have now been ranked in each of the past four weeks, improving their ranking across each poll. After earning the No. 19 ranking on Nov. 10, the Falcons inched up to No. 18 the following week. Bowling Green then swept Bemidji State Nov. 21-22 to leap up to the No. 15 slot.
North Dakota ranks No. 1 this week, while WCHA foe Minnesota State Mankato sits second. Michigan Tech (5th) and Northern Michigan (19th) also earned spots in the top 20, while Ferris State is receiving seven votes.
The Falcons are back in action this weekend (Dec. 5-6) at Northern Michigan. Friday night's game is scheduled for 7:37 p.m., and Saturday's at 7:07 p.m.
