Men's College Hockey: Bowling Green splits with Alaska

Brett D'Andrea capitalized on a breakaway to net the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in overtime.

Friday, Mitch McLain of Baxter scored his 16th goal of the season as the Falcons fell to Alaska 3-2. McLain also collected an assist in the game to increase his season total to 28 points. Matt Pohlkamp of Baxter assisted on McLain's goal. Chris Pohlkamp blocked three shots.

Bowling Green (13-14-2 overall, 11-10-1 WCHA) hits the road for its final away series of the regular season against Ferris State next Friday and Saturday nights.
