ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Brainerd High School graduates Chris Pohlkamp and Mitch McLain scored the goals for Bowling Green State University as the Falcons lost to Alaska Anchorage 4-2 in WCHA action Saturday night.
Pohlkamp, a freshman, scored his first career goal at 17:25 of the first period. McLain, a sophomore, scored his first goal of the season at 19:01 of the third for the 12th-ranked Falcons.
Anchorage improved to 5-1-1 overall, 2-0-1 in the WCHA. BGSU fell to 3-2-1 and 0-1-0 before playing Anchorage again Sunday night.
