Mixed Martial Arts: Inaugural Bud Brawl set for Saturday

Brainerd's Brock Larson will play matchmaker at the Bud Brawl 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at the Brainerd Curling Club in the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds.

Larson a retired UFC fighter will oversee the full card of action headlined by the professional fight between Brainerd's Marc Hummel and Alex Lennic of Fargo.

Other bouts include Aitkin's Noah Landrus against Brainerd's Andy Kidrowski and Angel Pacheco of St. Cloud vs. Ash Majek of Aurora, Ill.

Autumn Blummer will face Grace Trueblood in a karate match.

Brainerd's Logan Taylor will battle Mike Wall of Rosemount.

In a kick off bout, Justin Gothier of Alexandria will face Sean Conlon of Bemidji

There will be a free meet and greet at 6 p.m. featuring Larson and UFC fighter Maurice Greene. Fans will be able to take photos and talk with the fighters in a pre-event party atmosphere. This will be a first come, first serve event.

Bud Brawl is being presented by Huff Entertainment Solutions and partnered with Green Lantern, which will be providing food and beverages.

The fight card is subject to change. Weigh-ins will be 6 p.m. Friday, April 12 at the Green Lantern.
