CONCORD, N.C. -- William Byron, Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson drove their way into Saturday night's million-dollars-to-the-winner Monster Energy All-Star Race as each won a stage in the Monster EnergyOpen qualifying race at Charlotte Motor Speedway earlier in the evening.

Also earning a berth in the four-stage All-Star race was Alex Bowman of Hendrick Motorsports, who was voted in by fans.

Hendrick Motorsports' Byron won the scheduled 20-lap Stage 1 in the 24-car Open in overtime. He crossed the finish line bumping doors with Wallace of Richard Petty Racing, who finished .0006 seconds back. Wallace banged doors at the finish line again in Stage 2 -- with Daniel Suarez -- but this time held on to get the overtime victory and the berth. Chip Ganassi Racing's Larson passed Ty Dillon for the lead on Lap 5 of the final 10-lap stage and held on for the win.

They joined 15 other drivers who qualified for the All-Star field as a result of either winning a points-paying race in 2018 or 2019, won the All-Star Race before or who are previous Cup Series champions.
