Joey Logano is enjoying the best season of his career and it has paid off handsomely, as he signed a contract extension with Team Penske on Thursday.
Team Penske announced the multiyear deal for the Chase for the Sprint Cup contender, who will continue to drive the No. 22 Ford in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and No. 22 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
Logano, a seven-year NASCAR veteran who joined Team Penske at the start of the 2013 season, has Sprint Cup victories this season at Texas Motor Speedway, Richmond International Raceway, Bristol Motor Speedway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Team owner Roger Penske said the 24-year-old Logano has been "everything we hoped he would be, both as a driver and as a representative of our organization."
