NFL: Haeg recovering from ankle injury

INDIANAPOLIS--Former Brainerd High School and North Dakota State University offensive lineman Joe Haeg is making progress with an ankle sprain that he incurred against Baltimore two weeks ago.

INDIANAPOLIS-Former Brainerd High School and North Dakota State University offensive lineman Joe Haeg is making progress with an ankle sprain that he incurred against Baltimore two weeks ago.

Haeg had been making progress on the practice field and in the first two preseason games.

His ankle has made improvement and he might be cleared to play against Detroit Sept. 11.

Haeg will not play in the preseason finale Thursday at Cincinnati.
