Nordic Skiing: Flyers, Warriors finish in top four

MORA - Kendall Hendrickson placed fifth and Amelia Kresha was ninth to lift the Little Falls Flyer girls to a second-place team finish at the Mora Invite Tuesday.

Brainerd's Faith Watson was fourth pacing the Warrior girls to third place.

Hunter Zupko finished fourth and Drew Peterson sixth for the third-place Flyer boys.

The Brainerd boys took fourth led by Ben Hanson's seventh-place finish.

Both teams are scheduled to compete in the Mesabi Invite at Giants Ridge in Biwabik on Saturday in what is billed as the largest Nordic ski event in the world with 1,200 skiers.
