Registration is under way for the Brainerd Nordic Ski Club's 41st annual Lumberjack Jaunt, one of the longest running Nordic ski races in Minnesota, which will be skied Jan. 31 at Northland Arboretum.
New this year will be timing and results by Karma Race Management.
Skate and classic races at 16 and 6 km will be offered as well as an 8+8 km skiathlon.

Jan. 31 schedule:
9 a.m., Registration & bib pick up.
11 a.m., Racing starts with classic races followed by freestyle races at 11:10 a.m.
1 p.m., Free fun race for youths 4 to 12.
Meal and awards follow the races.

There is a reduced registration fee for skiers 18 and under.
Lunch will be provided after the race and is included in entry fee.

There will be prizes for race winners and door prizes for participants.
The kids race features age appropriate distances up to 2 km (ages 4 to 12).
The event is a family oriented ski race. Skiers of all abilities are encouraged to enjoy trails at the arboretum.
