BIWABIK-Hunter Zupko and Kendal Hendrickson of Little Falls recorded top 10 finishes and the Brainerd Warriors boys placed seventh in Saturday's Mesabi East Invite at Giants Ridge.
Gabe Raguse posted a 10th-place time of 15:17.9 to lead the Brainerd boys to seventh place in the 47-team event. Raguse competed in the freestyle division with Andrew Wasniewski placing 27th. Brainerd's classic skiers were led by Evan Storbakken in 28th place and Evan Schreifels in 31st. There were 123 classic skiers and 111 freestyle skiers.
The Little Falls boys finished ninth led by Hunter Zupko's sixth-place classic time of 15:25.8. Seth Crocker finished 55th. Colton Yorek led the Flyers freestylers with a 22nd place finish. Drew Peterson was 29th.
The Flyer girls' team finished 10th. Hendrickson scored a fifth-place 18:06.4 in the freestyle division. Nicollet Gammon-Deering was 30th. Alice Foote led the Flyers' classic skiers by finishing 46th. Christy Masog was 52nd.
Hannah Trtanj's 49th-place time of 21:01.2 in the freestyle was the top Brainerd girls finisher. The Warriors placed 22nd as a team. Sarah Hanson finished 57th in freestyle.

Grace Erholtz was the top Warrior classic skier. She posted a 54th-place finish with Faith Watson placing 59th.
