We'll close out this work week with a little milder air and less wind. I'm seeing a few gusts here and there into the lower teens, but most of the region will have some lighter wind speeds all day Friday.
Temperatures will climb into the 50s in southern South Dakota. The rest of the region will hit the mid to upper 30s and then some 40s to the south. Overall, I'm seeing a fairly quiet and mild close to this work week.
The breeze picks up Saturday which will lead to a little cooler feel to the air. Although it won't be bitter, it will be a little chillier compared Friday's weather even through our high temperatures may be similar. The breeze will generally be out of the north for the area on Saturday.
Highs around Devils Lake will stay in the 20s Saturday while most of the rest of us will warm into the 30s to 40s, but as I mentioned above, it will likely feel a little cooler due to the breeze out of the north. I'm seeing more cloud cover for the region on Saturday. Expect a cloudy to mostly cloudy day. There is a system set to bring snow to Iowa and then into Wisconsin. This low pressure system will come close to the Rochester area and southeastern Minnesota. I'm not seeing the snow lift as high as the Twin Cities or Duluth.
Our winds back off as we close out this weekend. Higher pressure will slide into the Dakotas and eventually Minnesota. This stable air will be around early in the work week leading to a cooler start to the week as well.

We'll close out this weekend a little cooler. Highs will range from 20s to 30s for most with a few spots reaching into the 40s. I'm seeing a little more sunshine for Sunday. And with the combination of lighter winds and some sun it will likely feel a little nicer to be out and about compared to the brisk north wind on Saturday.
