Hunter Cunningham, Hannah Larson and Malyk Edwards landed spots on the All-Central Conference team at the Nov. 14 Central Conference tournament at Southway Bowl in St. Cloud. The three will participate in an all-conference tournament Nov. 28 at Midway Pro Bowl in St. Paul.
As a team, Brainerd lost to Sartell in the first round of the conference tournament. No. 4-seeded Apollo won the conference championship.
In the junior varsity division, Brainerd Blue won the conference championship and will represent the Central Conference at the state junior varsity tournament Dec. 6 at Mermaid Lanes in Mounds View.
Brainerd Silver finished second and will compete in the Minnesota Qualifying tournament Nov. 22 at Southtown Bowl in Bloomington.
High bowlers during the conference tournament were Josh Gabrio (Blue) and Hunter Turcotte (Silver) with 100-percent fills each.
