Prep Bowling: Warriors 4th in conference

ST. CLOUD -- The Brainerd Warriors finished the Central Conference tournament Saturday, Nov. 16, in fourth place at the Southway Bowl.

After eight games of pool play, Brainerd tied with Sartell for the No. 1 seed. In bracket play, Brainerd fell to No. 3 seeded Forest lake and No. 4 seeded St. Cloud Tech.

Levi Johnson and Abbey Thurstin made the all-conference team. They will participate in the all-conference tournament Saturday, Nov. 30, at AMF Southtown in Bloomington.

Carley Cronquist made the seventh and eighth grade all-star team.

In the junior varsity division, Brainerd was seeded No. 1 after eight games of pool play. It defeated Sauk Rapids in the first round of bracket play before falling to Forest lake in the championship match.
