Prep Golf: Seeling ties for 36 in junior championship

DETROIT LAKES — Tyler Seeling shot a second-round 77 for a two-day 150 and a tie for 36th place following the final round Tuesday, July 28, of the 93rd Minnesota State Junior Boys’ Championship at Detroit Country Club.

Seeling, representing Cragun’s Legacy Courses, finished 12 shots behind winner Dayne Mann of Refuge Golf Club, who fired rounds of 68-70 for a first-place 138.

Evan Quinn of Brainerd shot rounds of 82-76 to tie for 75th place with his 158.

Canaan Kugler of The Classic at Madden’s fired a 177 for 121st place.
