ANKENY, IOWA — Amber Neubert combined to score 29 points and grab 13 rebounds as the Lake Region Christian Hornets split their first two games at the Faith Tourney Thursday, Jan. 27.
In Game One, Neubert tallied 20 points and eight rebounds to lead the Hornets to a 42-19 victory over Maranatha Academy.
Emma Moore added six points and five steals and Nikole Thorson finished with five points and seven rebounds.
In the Game Two, Faith Christian handed the Hornets a 52-15 loss. Neubert tallied nine points and five rebounds while Thorson contributed five points and five rebounds.
