CROSBY — Jordan Oehrlein finished with 21 points as the Crosby-Ironton Rangers defeated the Staples-Motley Cardinals 80-60 in a Mid-State Conference game Tuesday, March 1.

The Rangers had four other players in double figures as Will Meyer scored 14 and Carsen Turk had 13 while Evan Miller and James Stokman each added 10.

Isaiah Schultz led the Cardinals as he recorded 30 points and Hunter Miller chipped in 12 points.

MENAHGA — Domanic Cabak tallied 17 points as the Pillager Huskies lost to the Menahga Braves 67-57 in a Park Region Conference matchup Tuesday, March 1.

Christian Hooge added 11 points for the Huskies who dropped to 9-14 this season.

MILACA — Ben Virnig, Kyle Winscher and Ian Oberfeld all hit 20 as the Pierz Pioneers escaped Milaca with a 78-71 overtime victory over the Wolves Tuesday, March 1.

Virnig led the Pioneers with 22 followed by Winscher’s 21 and Oberfeld’s 20. Zach Jones added nine points for Pierz.
