Area Boys Golf: Herold goes low to lead Pierz

ELK RIVER — Logan Herold fired an individual best 79 to lead the Pierz Pioneers to fourth place in a Granite Ridge Conference meet Thursday, April 28, at the Elk River Golf Club.

Herold recorded two birdies on his way to a 7-over-par performance. Teammate Lance Otremba placed third with an 82.

Nathan Boser’s 91 led the Little Falls Flyers to seventh place.

Pillager places 4th

BATTLE LAKE — Brenden Brichacek fired a ninth-place 89 to lead the Pillager Huskies to fourth place in a Quad County Conference meet Thursday, April 28, at Balmoral Golf Course.

Braedyn Berent shot 91 and Drew Berent a 99 for the Huskies.
